Webchecks/Fingerprinting
Civilian Webchecks and Fingerprinting are conducted on Tuesdays only from 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM.

Civilian Webchecks (electronic fingerprinting) are done when no card is issued.

Fee's for Webcheck are:

$25.00 for BCI (effective July 1, 2009)
$30.00 for FBI
$55.00 for BCI and FBI

ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED - Exact change for services would be greatly appreciated. Please make all money orders out to the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office.

It is your responsibility to have the proper address to send the results and to know what type of background check your employer is requesting. (IE. State of Ohio Check, FBI background check, BOTH)

*** ATTENTION ***

Effective August 1, 2009 BCI will begin processing paid cards and payments through a new accounting system. Once you have been fingerprinted on the card that your employer/agency has given you, you must enter the account number/agency ID number of 1AB002. Each card sent to BCI with payment will need to have the name and address on the front of the card that indicates where the background check results will be sent. Each card will need to have a payment in the exact amount due to process that card only. Please do not combine payments for processing more than one card.

Make checks payable to the Treasure of State of Ohio in the amount of 22.00 for a BCI fingerprint card only or 46.00 if you are doing a BCI fingerprint card and an FBI fingerprint card. You will also need to fill out a waiver form allowing the results to go to the requested agency/department. This form is available through the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office. Please be sure to request one, if not given one at time of fingerprinting.

As of August 1, 2009, if the policy is not followed the card(s) will be returned to your agency.

If you are given a fingerprint card, it is to be filled out completely in black ink before you arrive and once inked you will need to mail card in with fee.
